Versatile, comfortable and functional: Developed for use in alpine terrain, the TRAVERSE line meets all the requirements of demanding tours. Around 60% of the fabrics used in the TRAVERSE line (excluding PURE models) are solution-dyed. Compared to conventional dyeing processes, this method can reduce the use of water and chemicals during manufacturing.
With its COMFORT-CONTACT BACK SYSTEM, the TRAVERSE 40 offers balanced comfort: The pads ensure permanent air circulation, while the wide, ergonomic shoulder straps and wide hip belt distribute the load evenly. A circumferential zipper provides quick, easy access to the main compartment of the TRAVERSE 40, while additional equipment can be stowed in the lid pocket, the inner compartment, the elasticated front pocket and the bottom compartment. A helmet net, compression straps, pole holders, hip pocket and shoulder strap pocket round off the features designed specifically for mountaineering.

Ich bin begeistert von dem Rucksack. Einziger Minuspunkt sind die Träger. Diese sind beim Modell 38S so viel angenehmer, nur leider ist dieses Modell für mich am Rücken zu kurz. Ich bin mit 172 nicht riesig und fände es toll wenn es die Vorteile eines Frauenmodells auch für größere Frauen gibt. (Vll eine Anregung für die Zukunft) 😉

I bought this product despite the fact that it has no dedicated ice axe fixation. I know that you have Peak series but I cannot understand why you didn’t add this feature. This is not like adding pocket for laptop! In some cases you realy need trekking poles and ice axe even under 3000m. With this feature it will be perfect backpack for me for more than one day trek with changing weather conditions. I like upgrades: not sewed helmet mesh, pocket on shoulder strap.

In jeder hinsicht ein fettes DOWNGRADE (bezüglich Design, Material, Polsterung, Funktionen) im Vergleich zum älteren Model. Das ältere Model ist bzw. war eine echte 1+. Aber da ich den Vergleich kenne, kann ich diese Tasche jetzt nur noch mit einer 3+ bewerten. Das ist sehr enttäuschend. Manchmal frage ich mich wer hinter diesen Entscheidungen steht und ob eine extrem hohe Marge wirklich alles ist. Muss mich jetzt leider gezwungenermaßen bei Deuter und co. umschauen... :/
