Individually adaptable thanks to the zip-on concept

Freeriding today, a multi-day tour next week? With the zip-on system, all stowaway bags can be combined with the Freeride and Tour Base. 

1 system – 2 bases 
The LiTRIC BASE consists of a back system, shoulder straps, hip belt and the LiTRIC airbag system. It is available in two variants: the TOUR BASE and the FREERIDE BASE, each specially designed for their intended area of use. They are each available in two back lengths and can be combined with all four zip-on bags using a secure closure system. 

4 ZIP-ON BAGS 
The two FREERIDE and two TOUR ZIP-ONS are each tailored to their intended area of use – but thanks to their versatility, they also expand the area of use for the LiTRIC Bases enormously. The volumes range from a compact 18 (16 S) liters with freeriding-specific features for powder days, through to 40 (36 S) liters with technical solutions for multi-day ski tours. 

Both back lengths (regular and S) are only compatible with stowaway bags of corresponding size.

High performance battery for multi day tours

The combination of supercapacitors and a cold- resistant, 25g lithium ion battery provides reliable operation even at the most extreme temperatures – without a drop in performance. 

The radial high-performance inflation system with axial diffusor fills the air bag in four seconds. 

One charge enables at least two activations. The approx. 60h operation time when switched ON (30 days when switched OFF) allows for multi-day tours with no need for recharging. Its operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +45°C.

Focus on simplicity with LED displays

An LED display on the side of the backpack signals that the system is ready for operation including a self-test, and shows the system’s battery charge.

Ergonomic, height-adjustable activation handle

The ergonomic, height-adjustable activation handle with Bowden cable protects against false activation in no time flat: Just turning the handle 180° blocks the system.

Leg loop that is simple to use

Hip belt and leg loop reimagined: Instead of the fid dly process of threading it onto the waist strap, the leg loop is now attached to an extra loop using a carabiner. This removes the need for an unwieldy hip clasp.

Reliable airbag compartment opening

Thanks to the new locking system, acci dental opening of the airbag pocket is impossible – no matter how full the backpack is.
