Lightweight and supple for full freedom of movement when freeriding: The 3L DEEP SHELL PANTS for women offer full protection and high comfort combined with low weight.
The wind- and waterproof DERMIZAX® NX high-performance membrane from Toray is lined with merino wool in areas of the body that are particularly sensitive to the cold, guaranteeing optimum heat retention and a comfortable fit. These lightweight freeriding pants have anatomically shaped knees and a comfortable cut to guarantee freedom of movement in any terrain. Ventilation zippers on the sides provide additional ventilation when the going gets tough.
The spacious, extended thigh pockets ensure everything can be neatly stowed away and yet accessed quickly. The avalanche transceiver carabiner integrated into the right pocket provides a permanent place for your avalanche transceiver.
Thanks to their robust membrane and flat seams, the 3L DEEP SHELL PANTS for women are particularly durable and long-wearing. The integrated Dyneema-Cordura gaiters and sharp-edge protectors provide additional protection when freeriding. The pants are also PFC-free and climate neutral in the interest of sustainability. Our sustainable MERINO WOOL comes from monitored, ethical sheep farms. It is comfortably soft, easy to care for, and provides an optimum body climate thanks to its moisture- and temperature-regulating properties.
DERMIZAX NX is a particularly elastic PU membrane made by TORAY, and provides protection in all weathers. It is wind- and waterproof yet offers high breathability, which increases the more you sweat.

I really wanted to love these pants!! The fit is the best I’ve ever had in ski pants, great cut, the thin merino lining and zips are beautiful details. I actually feel like they were designed for women instead of 'pink n shrink'. But performance-wise, they have been absolutely terrible. Other ski pants I own in similar colours and conditions have held up far better. These have failed quickly in ways that make me think the product is genuinely faulty and not properly tested. When I reached out to discuss the issues, with full understanding, as someone who works in the industry and knows things can happen, the response I received was so bad. I would have easily bought Ortovox for the rest of my skiing life, but the service is shocking. I am shocked

I bought these trousers for skiing and I love the fit and comfort of them, and the use of wool, however they are just not durable enough for skiing. After 10 days of skiing I already have a tear on the bottom of the inside leg where the fabric is not strong enough. I will try to repair them with a patch but they really aren't suitable for skiing and would be prone to catching while skiing which is dangerous.

Leider ist diese Hose weder widerstandsfähig noch langlebig. Nach einer Skitourensaison ist die Membran im Schritt gebrochen und mit dem Tragen eines Airbag-Rucksackes außen ausgefranst. Bei der Reklamation hieß es lediglich, dass die Hose schon zu stark abgenutzt sei. Diese Antwort ist meiner Ansicht ein Widerspruch: langlebig und widerstandsfähig vs. starke Abnützung nach einer einzigen Saison? Außerdem verstehe ich die Begründung der Ablehnung nicht, da mir der Zusammenhang zwischen kaputter Membran im Schrittbereich und Abnützungszeichen, welche sich hauptsächlich im Bereich der Beinenden befinden, nicht klar erscheint. Fazit, diese Hose benötigt eine starke Verbesserung bezüglich der Langlebigkeit bzw. der Materialqualität. Dies in Kombination mit dem hohen Preis sowie ein nicht-zufriedenstellender Kundenservice ist leider sehr enttäuschend.

Awesome fit, started fraying in the crotch after 1.5 yrs of use and sent them in for repair. Please be aware that full wait times for repair are 4-12 weeks which may put a damper on your season. Will update review when received back, on week 9 after pants were received at ortovox.
