WHO, IF NOT US?
We have defined our CO₂ budget until 2050 and our milestone target for 2030. This is the limit we have set! Yet, we also know our biggest levers to decrease emissions. Our asset is that we have built up comprehensive high-quality data over the years, allowing us to implement our emission reduction strategy with a clear focus and great efficiency.
CHALLENGES
The supply chain accounts for 95% of our CO₂ emissions, and its complexity is a key challenge. From design to raw material production to energy mix and transportation – there are many aspects that need adjustment. This also asks for a departure from old patterns, for a new mindset. Although the changes are often substantial and the process demanding, it is an invigorating and effective process.
