SUPPLY CHAIN

Strong ties, built on trust.

We cultivate cooperative partnerships with our suppliers. We maintain close contact not only to ensure high standards, but also to live up to our duty of care as a brand. The foundation is our Supplier Code of Conduct that sets clear standards for social and environmental responsibility.

Status Quo:

We have joined the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) in 2015, a non-profit organisation that campaigns for the global improvement of working conditions in the textile industry. We hold the Leader Status in the area of social responsibility.

Over 24,000 workers are employed in our partner factories. Around 80% of them are women.

Challenge

There is a lot of back and forth and uncertainty when it comes to sustainability legislation not only in the European Union but worldwide. Still, we believe that the idea behind it all is a good one: ensuring human rights and environmental protection, creating transparency in supply chains and implement due diligence processes in business practices. With the numerous complexities, these are certainly not easy tasks. With the help of the Fair Wear Foundation we have established extensive monitoring for our tier 1 suppliers where the final assembly (mostly sewing) is happening. Now, we are working intensively on implementing structured supply chain monitoring in our deeper supply chain as well.
