The TOUR PRO COVER GLOVES for women: The multi-purpose weapon for demanding ski tours with long ascents and rapid descents.
Functioning well during both ascent and descent and in any weather, these lightweight softshell gloves will make every demanding ski-tour heart beat faster. The outer material is windproof and water-resistant, and the fingers made of Naturetec Light softshell material offer maximum freedom of movement. When you are moving, warm air can quickly and easily escape through a hidden ventilation opening on the back of the hand, the overlapping opening stays closed when you are standing still.
The special highlight: The integrated, retractable glove covers made of robust PERTEX QUANTUM PRO material can be quickly and easily pulled over the glove to provide additional protection against snow, wind and cold during descents. The gloves have a soft, 100% merino wool lining. The padding on the back of the hand is made from 50% recycled merino wool and makes the gloves cozily warm but never too hot. The thumb and index finger are reinforced and the smart finger enables the operation of a smartphone screen.

I'm so excited Ortovox has been able to make such a versatile approach glove for ski touring! The combination of soft shell tech, merino wool lining, and the Pertex "over-mitt" make this possible the most used item in my outdoor clothing system. I have about a 7 inch (18cm) wrist to tip of middle finger measurement and the medium fit me perfectly. The warmth and breathability of these is perfect for the uphill skin track. The internally stashed "over-mitt" keeps me happy as I typically transition to downhill mode faster than my ski partners (or my avalanche course students) and this feature lets me stay in these gloves instead of switching to my warmer downhill pair. Bottom line, these gloves provide protection while increasing my efficiency in the mountains. I am an Ortovox Team Ambassador, so did receive these gloves at no cost.
