For the MERINO NAKED SHEEP line we’ve concentrated on the essentials: Low weight, optimum protection and ample comfort. This hardshell jacket is lightweight and technically sophisticated yet robust and comfortable.The DERMIZAX® NX membrane from Toray – the most high-performance membrane that we use – ensures the jacket is windproof, waterproof and breathable. The hardshell jacket has a 2-way zipper for an optimal fit – even with a climbing harness. A 2-way zipper in the underarm area provides ventilation during sweat-inducing climbs. Soft, merino-mix inserts around the chin and the 2-way adjustable, helmet-compatible storm hood offer comfort and protection in rain, snow or icy conditions.

Ich bin leider weder mit dem Produkt noch dem Kundenservice zufrieden. Die Jacke war bereits nach 2 Jahren nicht mehr wasserdicht an Schultern und Unterarm. Trotz Imprägnieren bestand das Problem weiter. nach Einschicken der Jacke wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass diese nicht repariert werden kann, und ein Rabattcode für eine neue Jacke zugeschickt. Ein erneuter Kontaktversuch wurde ignoriert. Da dieses Problem in den Bewertungen wiederzufinden ist, scheint dies ein generelles Problem der Jacke zu sein, was so jedoch nicht anerkannt wird.

I have been very satisfied with this jacket for backcountry touring. The fit is categorized as "Regular" but I went one size bigger to accommodate very cold days, below freezing, when we are still outside recreating or working and piling more layers underneath the shell. The material is supple and quiet. There are no hand pockets, which makes since for a backcountry ski tour jacket because your pack belt will impede the use of hand pockets. I put my inclonometer in the arm pocket for quick access as I move through terrain. I also love that the hood fits over my helmet. Colors are great!

Meine Ende 2019 gekaufte 3L ORTLER Jacke ist, trotz korrekter Pflege nicht mehr Wasserdicht. Schon bei 10 Minuten Radfahren in die Arbeit wird der Kopf nass. Ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit dem Produkt und kann es leider überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen. Es gibt sicher günstigere und nachhaltigere Produkte die genauso viel können. Vor allem aber bin ich mit dem Service unzufrieden. Nach dem mein Fachhändler die Jacke versucht hat einzuschicken, bekam ich als Antwort die 2 jährige Garantie sei abgelaufen. Hier bin ich sehr enttäuscht, dass die Marke mit Nachhaltigkeit und Langlebigkeit wirbt aber es nicht lebt.
