Even on biting cold winter days, the Swisswool PIZ VIAL VEST for women keeps ski tourers on track.
With its full coverage 90 g/m² lining and an ideal weight-to-insulation ratio, this is one of the warmest Swisswool items in the ski touring collection – the striking zig-zag, mountain-shaped quilting also gives it a cool look.
The innovative PERTEX® QUANTUM DIAMOND FUSE outer material consists of a thick-knit diamond-shaped yarn made from 100% recycled polyamide. This slightly shiny material is windproof, water resistant, breathable and extremely robust.
The vest has a high collar and elasticated inserts on the armholes to combat the icy air in the mountains. The two front pockets are backpack compatible and easy to access. The active, ergonomic but casual cut provides maximum freedom of movement.

We have been using Swisswool– wool fibers from Switzerland – as insulation material since 2011. A sustainable wool of regional origin, it warms superbly even when wet, is easy to care for and offers a perfect microclimate.
PERTEX® DIAMOND FUSE material is made up of unique diamond shaped filaments that lock together to create a particularly durable, highly abrasion-resistant fabric. Water simply rolls off of the material’s smooth surface.
Sustainable PERTEX® QUANTUM material is made of recycled polyamide, and its tight weave makes it extremely windproof and abrasion resistant yet comfortably soft. It is also particularly lightweight with a small pack size.
